Overview:
The position is responsible for providing ongoing operational metrics and strategic recommendations by utilizing the primary applications that support NS (Clarity, SAP, PCE, Tableau). These recurring metrics and strategic recommendations are utilized by department managers and senior leadership in order to ensure that NS continues to meet TDS’ business needs in both an efficient and cost-effective manner. The Sr. Analyst – Network Implementation will work closely with department managers and senior leadership on desired methods of data assembly, presentation, strategic review and must have a strong knowledge of operational reporting systems, functional processes, capital management, and project management as to ensure maximum efficacy and accuracy.
The position requires a combination of business and technical knowledge, excellent analytical skills as well as expert knowledge of data and reporting. Ability to work with and build relationships with all levels of employees in the company.
This position has the ability to work remotely in any of the 40+ States in which TDS Telecom operates.
The pay range listed for this position represents the low and high end of the base compensation range. The actual offer amount will carefully consider multiple factors, such as relevant skills, qualifications, work experience, location and/or competencies that align with the specified role. Certain positions are eligible for additional forms of compensation such as bonuses and equity awards.

As
Senior Analyst – Network Implementation you will play a key role in providing in-depth analysis, forecasting and strategic planning and input of workload, production, service levels, capital, competitive costing and other key performance indicators for Network Services. - Conduct reviews of strategic network builds driven by business cases or external/Government funding. Strategic build review and business case evaluation for recommendations on builds by identifying which capital opportunities will maximize business value and strong competitive advantage.
- Coordinate and provide reporting and input on any and all phases of the build process for strategic build projects and create leadership update presentations for senior leadership and the Board of Directors as requested.
- Provide reporting and strategic review of the capital budget for Network Services including working with Program managers on creating and maintaining forecasting and budgets quarterly and annually, as well as coordinating all capital releases with the OC.
- Provide on-going evaluation of approved network builds to ensure business benefits are being achieved while maintaining the integrity of architectural and design plans as well as providing strategic input for decisions on reporting the results.
- Ensure all regulatory requirements are being achieved while maximizing business benefit for limited costs for all externally funded network-related enhancements.
- Work as a point of coordination/strategic evaluation/communication between architecture, build teams, business leaders and executive leadership to coordinate network builds within Network Services.
- Lead initiatives to develop or improve upon existing data-related processes, automate manual labor where it relates to the recording and analysis of data, and create tools for management reporting, budgeting, and forecasting. Rapidly integrate new acquisitions into reporting processes.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (or higher) –OR- 4+ years professional work experience.
- 3+ years’ experience in analytics and reporting.

- Capacities to identify, investigate, and efficiently solve complex systemic issues with regard to data integrity and consistency across numerous systems.
- Knowledge of financial reporting methods and financial systems.
- Proficiency in personal computer applications, with advanced-to-expert knowledge of MS Excel and a strong comprehension of Power Point and Word functionalities.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize effectively.
- Comfortable, professional, and economic in communications involving complex data concepts to all levels of employees, including those at an executive level.
- Ability to multitask and work well under pressure, maintain a strong attention to detail, and meet or exceed expectations within tight deadlines.
