LHH Recruitment Solutions is leading a search to hire a Senior Accountant for an international consumer products and e-commerce company headquartered outside Los Angeles in Sherman Oaks, CA. Company offers a hybrid schedule with 2 remote working days per week and a $90,000 - $110,000 salary + bonus.
The Big Picture:
The Senior Accountant is a key member of the accounting team contributing to timely and accurate month-end close process and complex accounting activities. Reports to an Accounting Manager and works with the General Ledger accounting team. Department also includes a CFO, Controller and AP Manager with 6 staff.
Who You Are:
- Experience - 5-7 years accounting experience with progressive responsibility
- Education - Bachelor's degree in Accounting
- Industry - commerce, consumer products manufacturing & retail preferred
- Software - large ERP (Oracle, SAP), Excel
- Soft Skills - attention to detail, excellent communication, organizational, planning & analytical skills
What You'll Do:
- Prepare journal entries and other analytical data in support of month-end close
- Prepare journal entries and accruals, both recurring and non-recurring
- Monthly variance analysis
- Assist with reviewing financial statements
- Assist with monthly Balance Sheet and Cash Flow analysis
- Preparation of supporting documentation for financial statements and period reports for leadership
