IMA Medical Group is looking to hire a Full-Time Senior Accountant. This position offers competitive pay based on experience.

Responsibilities and Duties – Senior Accountant

  • Perform month-end close procedures, including preparing and booking general ledger entries, preparing account reconciliations, and variance analysis.
  • Responsible for the Corporate books, including accruals and prepaid expenses, inventory accounting, lease accounting, credit card reconciliation, accounts payable, etc.
  • Responsible for multiple monthly allocations
  • Assist with reviewing and approving expense reports, as well as training employees on expense and invoice management software
  • Answer accounting and financial questions by researching and interpreting data
  • Understanding of GAAP and the ability to interpret and apply these standards – Prepare variance explanations and assist in gathering financial information
  • Assist with ad-hoc tasks and projects
  • This role is remote with infrequent travel requirements

Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
  • CPA certification (or in progress) preferred
  • Three or more years of relevant experience (corporate accounting preferred)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Time management and ability to multi-task to prioritize and meet deadlines
  • Team player that can collaborate and build effective working relationships with others in the department and organization
  • Demonstrate a proficient level of professional skill and/or knowledge in accounting and keep current with developments and trends
  • Knowledge and ability to use applicable information technology and systems to meet work needs (QuickBooks preferred)
  • Excellent communication skills, written and verbal, with the ability to clearly communicate
