Availability/Schedules:
- Full-time - Saturdays through Wednesdays: all shifts working 3:00 pm - 11:00 pm (nights/ 40 hours per week).
- Days off - Thursday and Friday
General Job Functions

- Assists in the supervision of security officers on assigned shifts.
- Responsible for the proper execution of assigned duties.
- Assisting in the training of new security officers.
- Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.
- Assist with planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
- Maintains a professional departmental, company, and community reputation.
- Maintains regular, consistent attendance records.
- Knowledgeable of and adhering to all rules and regulations, policies, and orders.
- Provides protection for all employees and guests.
- Provides overall protection of company assets.

JOB DESCRIPTION
Job Responsibilities specific to this client site include, but are not limited to:
- The Security Shift Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the activities of the security shift which provides safety and protects all patrons, employees, and company assets. Supervise programs and processes to reduce and control loss time injuries. Review staffing levels to maintain full coverage of posts. Delegate authority and assign responsibilities. Investigate incidents and/or customer complaints and compile data for accurate reporting.
- Provide excellent customer service to our clients.
- Observe, survey, and report activities at the assigned site.
- Respond quickly to critical situations.
- Ability to read and write detailed reports.
- Enforce client procedures, regulations, and standards.
QUALIFICATIONS
Qualifications specific to this client site include, but are not limited to:
- At least 18 years of age or older as required by applicable law or contractual requirements.
- Strong attention to detail and situational awareness.
- Must have strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods of time.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Prior supervisory experience in any industry.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a KCMO private security license and SIDA license (GARDAWORLD will help to obtain any required licenses during our company hiring process).
- Possess at least a high school education or equivalent (GED)
- Pass an extensive screening process
- Legally authorized to work in the United States.
