Security Officers are responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our company's facilities by patrolling buildings and grounds, checking for unsafe conditions, protecting the facilities from fire hazards, and responding to any intrusions or emergencies that may arise. This position requires regular contact with co-workers and officials from other departments, so we are looking for individuals who have experience being a team player. We also require that Security Officers have experience with electronic surveillance equipment as well as a working knowledge of various security systems.

Responsibilities:

• Respond to and coordinate with other emergency personnel during a non-routine situation, such as a violent crime or terrorist activity.
• Respond to and coordinate with other emergency personnel during a routine situation, such as an interrupted power supply or an individual trapped in the building.
• Respond to emergency situations; work according to established security procedures, policies, and regulations.
• Signing visitors in and out of the site location.
• Making contact with unknown persons on site location.
• Being on time for work.
• Having a professional appearance.

Job Types: Part-time, Contract, Temporary

Pay: $16.00 per hour
