Job Title: Security Management
Location: Eglin AFB, FL
Canvas, Inc. provides services to a diverse group of customers in the areas of Test and Evaluation, Engineering Services, Program & Acquisition Management, and Product Integration. We are currently seeking a full-time Security Management.
Job Description: In this role, you will supports the 40 FLTS at Eglin AFB, FL. Serves as security program specialist executing and enforcing compliance with operational, functional, and mission assurance aspects of an integrated information security program. Executes and enforces compliance with the organization personnel security program. Serves as the organization's representative for Industrial Security issues. Maintains an in-depth knowledge of multiple customer missions in order to facilitate the protection of classified and SCI access as required by contract performance. Administers the Physical Security Program for the organization. The Position is designated special-sensitive and requires eligibility for access to Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI), other intelligence-related Special Sensitive information, or involvement in Top Secret Special Access Programs (SAP) to fully perform the duties and responsibilities of the position. A non-disclosure agreement must be signed. This is a Mission-Essential position performing a Mission-Critical-Function which must continue uninterrupted after the occurrence of an emergency and continued through full resumption of all functions. Ref: AFI36-129, dated 17May 2019.
Required Experience & Skills:
- Knowledge of a wide range of security specialties, concepts, principles, criteria, requirements, technology, and practices.
- Knowledge of the intelligence enterprise to support and promote information sharing and strategies.
- Knowledge of required security training concepts, programs, procedures, and practices to assist managers in establishing and operating internal security programs.
- Skill in the use of analytical principles, practices, and techniques to review and evaluate security programs to meet mission requirements and improve the security program for the organization.
- Experience working with Operational or Developmental Test organizations is highly desired.
- Knowledge of Eglin-based test processes and procedures.
- This skill level requires 3 to 10 years of experience and a Bachelor's or Master's degree in the applicable discipline. This skill level typically performs all functional duties independently.
- Must be able to work effectively as part of a test team.
- Must be able to effectively communicate orally and possess technical writing skills.
- May oversee the efforts of less senior staff and/or be responsible for the efforts of all staff assigned to a specific job.
- Occasional travel may be required.
- 6 years work experience may be substituted for a Bachelor's Degree
Required Security Level:
- Must have a Top Secret with SCI
