Bleecker Street Bar has been a staple of the NoHo area of Manhattan since 1990. Guests from all over the world have enjoyed its friendly atmosphere, incredible pricing and pristine bar games. It’s humble and unassuming culture has attracted all forms of life ranging from top ‘A list’ celebrities to the day-to-day working professionals.

The team at Bleecker Street Bar is beyond excited to have announced the new location and showcase it to the neighborhood. Steps away from its inception back in 1990, the new premises is now directly on Broadway in the historic Banner building.

Like its new location, the quality of products and services will also improve without losing the culture & ethos meticulously curated for the past three decades. These improved products are, spacious ceilings, a larger-than-life projector screen, almost double the draft offerings, ergonomic improvements, and all-gender bathrooms.

The most impressive improvement, however, is the addition of a full-service kitchen. With the menu being designed by one our dear friends, a champion in his own industry, Bleecker Street Bar will be a one-stop-shop for its future clientele. We are looking to staff up for our grand re-opening! All positions are in consideration.

What we’re looking for:

Security Members. We’re looking for a fun, energetic individuals that leads with integrity, professionalism & tact. This team member will be part of the opening team and we plan to hit the ground running. Targeted opening date is early to mid-March. It is our responsibility to the rest of the team to bring on people who can handle all the amazing & chaotic events associated with a bar opening.

- Ensure the physical safety of guests and Bleecker Street Bar personnel

- Properly identifying & confirming legal age of guests before entry.

- Blocking entrance from guests who are dangerously intoxicated

- Patrolling the premises or being stationary depending, and monitoring behavior

- Resolving conflict using common deescalating tactics

- Removing unwelcome patrons from the bar

- Maintain a friendly and professional demeanor at all times

Job Requirements

- Up to date Security License

- Authorized to work in the US

- Ability to lift 50 lbs

- Ability to stand for 8 or more hours

Salary: $170 per shift

Hours: Part Time or Full Time Availability

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Temporary

Pay: $170.00 per day
