Job Description

Administration:

  • Perform administrative duties including, but not limited to payroll, employee records, purchasing, pest control and repair requests
  • Pays department invoices and billing
  • Ensure all staff is current on CBTs through Healthstream administration
  • Assist with managing Teletracking bed board to for quality throughput
    Clerical:
  • Performs clerical and secretarial duties for the entire Environmental Services department, including Tupelo Main Unit, Women’s Hospital, Behavioral Health, West Point, Pontotoc, Iuka, Eupora and Hamilton.
    Customer Service:
  • Ensures excellent customer service
  • Responds to staff, management, vendors and internal departments in a timely manner
  • Locate and define new process improvement opportunities
  • Provides support to co-workers and other departments as required/requested
  • Coordinates EVS new hires with uniforms, training, schedule, etc.
    Budget:
  • Assists in preparing, submitting, implementing, and controlling of the annual budget
    Regulation:
  • Adheres to NMHS/NMMC Policies/Procedures/Guidelines
  • Complies with applicable Local/State/Federal policies/procedures/guideline/regulations/laws/statues
    Requirements:
  • High School Diploma; required
  • Minimum of 2 years’ secretarial work; preferred
  • Excellent organizational and communication (verbal and written) skills; required
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office based programs including Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook; required
  • Excellent interpersonal skills; required
  • Good initiative and time management skills; required
