Position Details
Title : Industrial Education Teacher, Gwinn Middle/High School
Successful Candidate must be able to meet the following qualifications :
- Candidate must possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Education and a valid Michigan Secondary Teaching Certificate, or Bachelor’s degree in a field related to Architectural or Mechanical Design/Engineering, or Building and Construction Management.
- Candidate must be proficient in AutoCAD and SolidWorks software, including detail drawings, part construction, and assembly creation.
- Candidate should be CTE or Vocationally certified in CAD or have the requisite hours to become so, before the 2023-24 school year.
- Candidate should be familiar with general fabrication/construction and manufacturing procedures and tools.
- Candidate should be familiar with current classroom technology including, but not limited to Google Docs, Gmail, and general PC/Microsoft functionality.
- Any prior certifications, training, or teaching experience should be noted.
