Leasing Agent in Cleveland, Ohio! Our Venues draw inspiration from the energetic atmosphere of the trendiest areas in Cleveland and provide a wide variety of engaging experience.
Job Overview:
Our Leasing Agent will be a paid a rate of
$16 per hour plus leasing bonuses and be a
non-exempt employee. This position has a 90-day probationary period. This position would be located in University Circle but will assist at our sites in Ohio City and East 4th Street, as necessary.
A Leasing Agent will be asked to perform the following duties:
- Meet and greet tenants and visitors
- Handle leasing inquiries, and correspondence with residents and future residents
- Schedule appointments and tour potential residents through neighborhood and apartments
- Inspect models and available “market ready”, communicate related service needs to RRC, Site Manager, and Regional Leasing Manager
- Demonstrate community and apartment/model and apply product knowledge to client’s needs by communicating the features and benefits; close the sale
- Immediately follow-up on prospects that did not close and attempt to close sale again
- Manage daily leasing traffic reports; process applications for approvals
- Ensure the accuracy of leasing paperwork and move in payments
- Provide residential relation support as needed or in the absence of applicable team member
- Maintain awareness of local market trends and conditions through monthly market surveys
- Assist in planning and execution of resident events
- Update and follow up on maintenance requests with residents
- Post, email, and deliver building memos and resident correspondences
- Perform general clerical duties to include but not limited to photocopying, faxing, mailing, and filing
- Support staff in assigned project-based work
Mandatory Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year of leasing or relevant sales or customer service experience
- Ability to work a flexible schedule primarily from Spring through Summer months
- Proficient in MS Office and other computer applications
- Ability to lift 15 pounds and maneuver up and down stairs
