Shirley Contracting Company, LLC is looking for a Construction Scheduling Manager, to work on various projects in the DC/MD/VA area. This position will include a variety of project types including, civil, utility, bridge, and structures ranging from $1 million to over $500 million dollars.

Qualifications:

  • 3+ Years of construction Critical Path Method (CPM) Scheduling and/or management experience.

  • Heavy Highway / Civil construction background preferred

  • Understanding of construction procedures, sequencing, and workflow

  • Proficient in scheduling software Primavera P6 and related programs, as well as – Word, Excel, PowerPoint

  • Outstanding communication, organizational and time-management skills

  • A team player with leadership abilities

  • High School diploma or equivalent

  • Bachelor’s degree (preferred)

  • Must pass pre-employment physical/drug screening

Responsibilities:

  • Review contract scheduling requirements and project documents to assist project teams in developing compliant CPM baseline schedules

  • Work with project management staff to provide monthly schedule updates and payment application requests to Owners

  • Assist business development and estimating departments by providing preliminary Proposal Schedules for use in pre-bid pursuits

  • Provide cost and resource loading of schedules in accordance with contract documents

  • Analyze and provide scheduling, cost, and resource usage across all projects and the organization

  • Assist in change order, time impact analyses and claims documentation

  • Establish and maintain a positive working relationship with customer and co-workers
