Scheduler Responsibilities:
- As a scheduler you will be responsible for organizing and managing the nursing staff schedules for your facility.
- You will review, approve, and book shifts for in house nurses and nursing assistants.
- You will identify gaps in the upcoming schedule and work to fill those gaps.
- You will handle and process last minute shift requests, cancellations, and no-shows.
Scheduler Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Basic computer program knowledge.
- Clerical or administrative experience preferred.
- Knowledge or health care terminology preferred.
