We are looking for someone who wants to make a positive impact as a SCADA Specialist. While in this role, your primary focus will be to craft, implement, deploy, support and maintain Enbridge US Gas Control Center SCADA system. This position, you will also communicate with other teams including IT, Automation, Measurement, and Operations as well other Business Units to ensure reliable functionality of the SCADA system. The SCADA system supports Gas Control Center operations that allow operators to control and supervise pipelines that span the country from the US/Mexico border to the East Coast.

What you will do:
- Develops, deploys, and maintains the SCADA system including the hardware and software functional specifications for automated purposes.
- Supports ongoing safe, reliable, and efficient operation of the SCADA systems through maintenance, troubleshooting, root cause failure analysis, corrective action, and administration of SCADA infrastructures.
- Analyze and resolve problems due to process and control system anomalies.
- Monitors and manages the environment for failures and performance problems.
- Collaborates with internal clients and third-party service providers when troubleshooting complex issues.
- SCADA system implementation, integration, operation, support, and maintenance that includes data analysis, screen development, database updates, scripting, point to point checkout and documentation.
- Develop and implement control strategies and graphic screens for the gas control center.
- Provides support to field technicians for graphic screen point to point checkout.
- Collaborate with Gas Control Center personnel in supporting and enhancing the SCADA systems.
- Supports Gas Control efforts to develop and implement control room management practices and policies.
- Develops and maintains system documentation, operating procedures, and inventory.
- Document changes, obtain required approvals, and submit changes.
- Ensures compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Provides 24X7 on-call rotation to support Gas Control Center operations. Provides support to various business groups such as Gas Control, Measurement, and Operations.

Who you are:
You have:
- Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, engineering or related technical fields or commensurate experience is required.
- 7 years SCADA experience in the oil and gas pipeline industry.
You can:
- Use and operate Microsoft Office applications.
- Understand P&ID wiring diagrams or other related documentation of piping and field instrumentation.
You are:
- Someone who effectively interacts with clients, SCADA Support team and other technical support groups.
- Self-motivated.
The following are considered assets:
- Solid Microsoft skills with an emphasis in advanced Excel.
- Experienced in scripting languages such as .Net and Visual Basic
- Demonstrated knowledge of Cygnet SCADA including CygNet Vision, CygNet Studio and CygNet Explorer
Knowledge of pipeline operations and procedures
Working Conditions:
- Office environment with moderate noise level.
- Able to view computer screen for lengths at a time.
- Fine visual acuity to read for accuracy and identify and distinguish colors.
- At times may be required to lift up to 50 lbs., transport and/or install various types of computer and SCADA equipment is required.
- On-call evening and weekend work as required and during emergency situations.
- Ability to travel up to 10% domestically is required.

Physical Requirements include but are not limited to:
Grasping, kneeling, light – moderate lifting (objects up to 20 pounds), reaching above shoulder, repetitive motion, typing, sitting, standing, visual requirement (able to see screens, detect color coding, reads fine print), hearing requirement and the ability to sit at a computer for long periods of time.
