Entry to Level 3 Technician ($20.96 - $28.41)
- This is an Operational Support Role and does not include a pay increase when the role is awarded to a successful candidate.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Act as a steward of our culture and coaches others on Company’s Basic Belief’s and Commitment to Each Other.
- Supports the company and site safety policies.
- Coaches team SanFLs and technicians on cGMP and sanitation best practices.
- Leads weekly SanFL meetings.
- Supports the SanFLs and technicians on the floor during sanitation days.
- Prepares MSS paperwork, sanitation day paperwork, and swabs.
- Sends out swabs and paperwork to third party lab.
- Calculates MSS completion percentages and shares results.
- Understands sanitation chemicals and their uses.
- Maintains chemical storage rooms and manages chemical inventory.
- Understands how to titrate chemicals and can alter chemical concentrations, if needed.
- Changes out chemical drums safely and follows proper disposal procedures.
- Performs all site CIP loops and understands site CIP systems for both bakery and sandwich making.
- Knows how to navigate through Proficy.
- Presents sanitation presentation for New Hire Orientation.
- Trains employees on visual inspections, swabs, and other sanitation practices.
- Knows how to use and can train employees to use portable foamers, pneumatic foamers, boost foamer, and can troubleshoot when necessary.
- Operates and trains employees on the riding floor scrubber and walk behind floor scrubber.
- Maintains and troubleshoots floor scrubbers and can work with Tennant when issues arise.
- Manages sanitation inventory.
- Stocks GMP stations, foot bathmats, and sanitation storage areas.
- Ensures plant common areas are clean and well maintained.
- Manages relationship with janitorial service and provides instructions and supplies when needed.
- Writes SSOPs and SOPs.
- Investigates and implements more efficient sanitation practices.
SELECTION CRITERIA
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
- High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
- Prior forklift experience/certification preferred.
OTHER
- Willing to work a flexible schedule and overtime as needed.
- Able to read, understand, and follow documents such as safety policies, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and general instructions.
- Able to understand and carry out both oral and written instructions.
- Basic computer skills, including the ability to learn company-specific systems and Microsoft Office Suite programs.
- Good communication skills, including the ability to give and receive feedback.
- Ability to perform the essential job functions outlined above consistent with safety standards and practices.
- Ability to understand and use proper personal protective equipment for the area.
- Detail oriented and able to see projects through to completion.
- Ability to complete tasks with minimal supervision.
- Able to provide leadership and prioritization in designated area.
- Strong organizational skills, detail oriented, and able to effectively multi-task and meet deadlines
- Able to problem-solve, handle stressful situations, and act with a sense of urgency
- Able to work both independently and on a team
- Physical requirements of the job include the ability to:
- Lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- Stand, sit, walk, enter confined spaces, push, pull, kneel, squat, and climb
- Perform repetitive actions, reach, and feel
This role is a rotational offline support role. The candidate should anticipate being in this role for approximately 3 – 5 years before rotating into an online technician role.

Current job attendance and performance at a satisfactory level.
Applicants must currently be at a minimum of Entry Level Technician and a maximum Level 3 Technician.
Must have a minimum of 1 year in the core (make/pack/ship) since last Operational Support role.

Transfer dates will be determined on an individual basis based on factors such as the urgency to fill the position, status of the employee’s present position, and difficulty in filling the employee’s present skills.

Employees will be given a 3-day time period to accept the role.
