Summary

Responsible for working with distribution to manage every aspect of the unit ordering process.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned:

  • Process all heavy duty and (possibly) light duty orders for the Ooltewah sales office in LN.
  • Communicate with distributors via telephone and email regarding chassis alignment, questions, and concerns with orders.
  • Communicate with chassis department on chassis alignment for heavy duty install units and shippers.
  • Process all purchase orders for subcontracted paint, labor, and transportation companies
  • Log entered orders into production schedule and update chassis information
  • Attend shipping meetings and communicate upcoming shipments to customers.
  • Maintain change order portal
  • Position is in sales but is predominantly administrative.

Education and Work Experience

  • Two year degree minimum
  • Experience in a sales/customer service type environment

Specific Knowledge and Skills

  • Strong computer skills-strong Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel.
  • Interpersonal Skills- the individual has a pleasant personality, remains open to others’ ideas and exhibits willingness to try new things.
  • Oral communication-the individual speaks clearly and persuasively in all situations.
  • Written Communication-the individual edits work for spelling and grammar, presents numerical data effectively and can read and interpret written information.
  • Planning/organization-the individual prioritizes and plans work activities, uses time efficiently and develops realistic action plans.
  • Problem solving-the individual identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner and gathers and analyzes information skillfully.
  • Detail oriented- individual must pay close attention to detail and accuracy of information.
  • Dependability-the individual is consistently at work and on time, follows instructions, responds to management direction and solicits feedback to improve performance.
