The Automotive Sales Manager position requires an assertive and self driven individual with at proven track record of success in sales management and the ability to close deals and increase business.

The successful candidate will have minimum 1 year new vehicle automotive sales management experience and 1 year used sales management. Excellent knowledge of Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram and or General Motors products and processes, digital marketing expertise and an ability to recruit, train and retain top sales talent is required.

Automotive Sales Manager Job Summary:

Ensure that Sterling Auto Group meets all new and used sales quotas by personally getting involved in the daily management of the activities of the new and used vehicle sales department. Achieve profit goals by developing and meeting gross profit per unit and CSI objectives.

Achieve planned unit sales by maintaining a balanced and representative new and used vehicle inventories.

Develop and execute productive marketing initiatives and campaigns.

Hire, train, and retain knowledgeable sales team, setting individual sales goals.

Ensure that sales team communicates with the client utilizing CRM, follow up phone calls, email and digital marketing.

Responsible for appraising, reconditioning and displaying wholesale and merchandising the product.

Automotive Sales Manager Required Experience:

• 1 year new Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram / General Motors sales management experience
• 1 year used vehicle sales management experience
• Excellent knowledge of CRM and DMS systems
• Excellent experience with digital marketing and BDC department
