MPS Group Inc. has an immediate opening for a Safety Administrative Assistant at our Farmington Hills, MI, Headquarters.
The non-exempt candidate must have great organizational skills with attention to detail for training and medical recordkeeping management and support within the company’s Corporate Safety Department. Essentials Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
- Perform administrative assistant duties for the company’s Learning Management System (LMS) program (HSI Platform): Apply technical skills to update current course content, create and develop learning agendas, manage division accounts, enroll new hire and current employees in the LMS, troubleshoot technical issues and be point of contact with LMS representatives.
- Enroll employees into various other web-based training programs, as required.
- Track employees training progress, troubleshoot issues and ensure timely completion of training criteria is achieved.
- Validate completion of training and update the company’s ‘training tracking system’.
- Scan and upload new hire and current employee training records, transcripts and certificates into employee training files for record retention and retrieval.
- Run SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS reports) and conduct routine audits to ensure the training and records management programs are compliant with company policy.
- Update the company’s ‘medical tracking system’.
- Scan and upload new hire and annual physicals records into employee medical files for record retention and retrieval.
- Run SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS reports) and conduct routine audits to ensure medical records management programs are compliant with company policy.
- Translate various safety, company programs and documents and update as necessary.
- Assist as interpreter and point of contact for Spanish speaking employees.
- Bachelor’s degree in education, instructional design, instructional technology or a related field.
- Bilingual fluent in English and Spanish required.
- Background or credentials in health and safety advantageous but not mandatory.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional departments to ensure that the LMS is meeting the needs of the organization.
