Job Title: S&T Roadmap Analyst

Labor Location: Huntsville, AL

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Willbrook Solutions is looking for Senior Engineer/Analyst to support the development and maintenance of the MDA Science and Technology (S&T) Roadmap. The roadmap lays out technology development plans, activities, and resources necessary to support implementation of the Missile Defense System Future Architecture, which is designed by the MDA Chief Architect.

RESPONSIBILITIES & TASKS:

• Conduct analyses and comparative trade studies to support development of the MDA S&T Roadmap.
• Develop reports, briefings, and meeting summaries. Help maintain and update the MDA S&T Roadmap.
• Develop and update Initial Requirements Documents (IRDs) based on gap analyses, concept assessment, trade studies, alternative studies, and technology development activities.
• Assist in seeking out and identifying innovative technology solutions from both commercial and defense industries to satisfy critical gaps in the Missile Defense System.
• Provide assessments of innovative and disruptive technologies to determine their current Technology Readiness Level (TRL), programmatic infusion benefits, maturation rates, and feasibility of future inclusion into the Missile Defense System.
• Support rapid, architectural-level performance analyses of the Missile Defense System.
• Support government customer at coordination meetings with other government agencies and site visits with contractors and university affiliated research centers.

REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:

• Bachelor's degree in an Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math with 20+ years of experience (Master's with 12+ years of experience preferred)
• Knowledge of the Missile Defense System desired. Knowledge should be at a level sufficient to identify technologies required to achieve planned capabilities of the Missile Defense System future architecture
• Ability to successfully coordinate projects across multiple organizations.
• Skill and experience in managing the development of technical products.
• Excellent oral and written communications, including the developing and presenting of technical briefing and preparing technical reports for Senior Leadership.
• Able to work at our customer site on Redstone Arsenal in Huntsville, Alabama.

SECURITY REQUIREMENTS:

Ability to obtain or have an Active Secret Clearance; with potential future TOP SECRET clearance.
