If so, we are looking for an RV Driver who will drive a Humana-branded RV/van to community events, help prepare for marketing activities, and assist in maintaining the vehicle's overall safety, reliability, and appearance. The Driver also performs basic administrative, clerical, operational, customer support and computational tasks. Typically works on routine and patterned assignments for the Medicare Sales Field Agents.

The RV Driver will also ensure the vehicle is mechanically safe and clean by performing & logging daily pre and post trip vehicle inspections and reporting any issues to Humana’s Fleet Management Company. The Driver will be responsible to follow Humana and the Department of Transportation (DOT) policy and compliance requirements for reporting all accidents, violations (tickets), and any other incidents.

Responsibilities

In this field position, you will report to the Senior Manager, Medicare Sales and your working hours are flexible, but a full shift is required as work dictates including some evenings and weekends. This position will include delivering marketing materials, setting up for marketing activities and community sales events, including loading and unloading boxes, tents, tables/chairs, and other marketing displays; purchasing food and other items needed at events, handling office deliveries and managing inventory of marketing supplies.

Required Qualifications

  • Professional experience with a commercial vehicle as a Driver
  • Basic Computer and Smart Phone/Tablet skills including experience using Microsoft Office products – Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Reliability in that the Humana vehicle & marketing materials must arrive onsite in a clean and organized state ahead of the start time of the community event
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule with hours/shifts, location/hub (for coverage), with the potential for overtime working weekends and evenings based on business needs
  • Good driving record and knowledge of streets and addresses in the driving area
  • Ability to follow policies and procedures
  • Must have basic mechanical assessment skills, including the ability to perform a DVIR (drivers vehicle inspection report) via a mobile app, consisting of daily pre and post trip inspections
  • This role is part of Humana's Driver safety program and therefore requires an individual to have a valid state driver's license free of restrictions. A Motor Vehicle Report will also be run as part of the background check process for this position
  • Must be willing to establish a DOT compliant drivers file to include obtaining a DOT medical certification. Note: A CDL (Commercial Drivers’ License) is not required for this position.
  • Strong relationship building skills with sales & marketing staff, peers, managers, and Humana associates
  • Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences
  • Must be able to lift boxes and marketing displays up to 50 lbs.
  • Must live within a daily commutable distance of the assigned territory

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bilingual with the ability to speak, read and write in both English and an additional language without limitations or assistance

Additional Information

  • Humana and its subsidiaries require vaccinated associates who work outside of their home to submit proof of vaccination, including COVID-19 boosters. The compensation range represents a good-faith estimate of starting pay at the time of posting and may vary based on geographic location and/or employment type. Individual pay decisions will vary based on demonstrated job-related skills such as education, experience, certifications, etc.
