Escape the Room is looking for a full-time manager to join our team. We are one of Oakbrook Center's most exciting attractions.

What we're looking for:

In short, we need someone who can proactively get things done and has done so in the past. If you're creative and can think on your feet, we like that. If you're the type of person that notices the smallest detail out of place, we love that. If you're able to engage with customers and provide them with the ultimate entertainment experience, we aim for that.

We are growing a company and are looking for qualified candidates to grow with us and help shape the Escape the Room customer and employee experience.

More specifically, you will tasked with responding to, resolving, and/or escalating issues as appropriate.

Responsibilities include:

• Directing staff and managing a wide variety of projects.
• Routine maintenance of props, sets, and public spaces.
• Training, supervising, appraising, and coordinating staff.
• Monitoring and responding to customer questions and feedback in a prompt and courteous manner.
• Maintaining an engaging, organized, efficient, and professional work environment.
• Other tasks as directed.

Qualifications include:

• Proficiency and the ability to quickly learn a variety of computer and internet platforms/applications.
• Experience with set design, general maintenance, and electronics troubleshooting and repair.
• Ability to clearly and regularly communicate and resolve issues as they arise.
• Experience in theater and/or hospitality environments a plus.

• 10 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
• Weekend availability
