JOB SUMMARY:Clean and service hotel guestrooms to achieve customer (guest, employee, corporate & owner) satisfaction and quality service while working in a positive team environment.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Clean guestrooms and stock with appropriate supplies in the prescribed manner while following safety and security procedures and regulations. To include but not limited to: picking up trash, changing linen and making beds, cleaning entire bathroom, sweeping and dusting, cleaning windows and mirrors, vacuuming, and all other duties as assigned by Director of Housekeeping and other supervisors.
• Retrieve, stock, restock, store, clean and organize the housekeeping cart according to prescribed housekeeping, safety and security procedures and regulations.
• Receive assigned section, keys, supplies and any priority room requests from the Director of Housekeeping and other supervisors. Turn in keys and unused supplies at end of shift.
• Respond to guest requests and report all guest issues and/or complaints to supervisors in a hospitable manner to ensure high guest satisfaction.
• Report any and all missing articles, damage or mechanical problems to the Director of Housekeeping or supervisor and turn in articles left in room.
• Follow emergency procedures to ensure appropriate protection for hotel guests, staff and company assets.

JOB SPECIFICATIONS (Knowledge/Skills):

Education:No formal education required.

Experience:Prior housekeeping experience desirable.

Skills and Abilities:Must have the ability to clean rooms during an eight-hour working day. Able to communicate minimally in English. Self-starting personality with an even disposition. Ability to meet standards of appearance. Able to communicate with guests in the local language.

Hours Required:Scheduled days and times may vary based upon business needs. Must be available to work weekends and holidays as needed. Full-time and part-time available.
