TalentBridge is currently seeking an Accounting Manager to be a trusted member of the team. This position reports to the Director, Revenue Accounting and is a key component of the Controllership organization. The Accounting Manager collaborates with other functions, departments, and key stakeholders across the organization.

Position Summary: Lead and coach the Ophthalmology revenue accounting team, manage and complete a timely month-end close, review journal entries and reconciliations for proper accounting, and work with the Director, Revenue Accounting to provide critical analysis of general accounting matters.

Responsibilities

• Manage the monthly close calendar and general accounting functions for Ophthalmology revenue
• Review monthly close entries for completeness and accuracy
• Ensure entries are recorded in compliance with GAAP
• Lead and develop 2-3 staff and senior accountants
• Partner with the finance team to help analyze and document financial statement activity and variances, as needed
• Assist with financial statement audit process with external auditors
• Perform GL account reconciliations and monthly analysis of various balance sheet and income statement accounts
• Identify opportunities to improve the monthly close process and implement process changes
• Provide insight into revenue-related financial matters while updating management of potential risks and areas of exposure
• Work closely with the acquisition and integrations team as it relates to assessing systems and consolidation implications and inform the work plans to ensure successful integrations of acquisitions
• Play an active role in integration assessment, design and execution, including talent assessment
• Develop cross-functional relationships across the company allowing insights into the business operations seeking insights into performance and pending process changes
• Play a key role in the monthly accounting process including analytical review of the monthly operating results (income statement, balance sheet, and cash flow) to ensure complete and accurate accounting records are maintained
• Implement, document, and maintain adequate and effective internal controls and process documentation to ensure alignment with SOX objectives

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
• CPA or CPA eligible preferred
• 4+ years of experience in an accounting role with management experience
• 2+ years of experience in public accounting or working in a finance role within a public company
• Experience with multi-site, healthcare revenue recognition is strongly preferred
• Experience with SAP is strongly preferred
• Highly skilled in the use of Excel spreadsheets and other accounting software.
• Excellent communication (written and verbal) skills, customer service, and organizational skills.
• Ability to create best-in-class processes: migration from a simple aggregator will require the ability to assess existing processes, design and build new processes, and ensure efficient and well-controlled processes
• Experience in a fast-paced environment with a proven ability to multi-task and prioritize is critical; a strong focus on designing and building while continuing to acquire new companies, integrating existing companies, and conforming operational processes across the enterprise

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
