1. Manages floor presentation and operations.
2. Coaches, disciplines staff, maintains appropriate documentation required, adhering to company employee relations policies.
3. Performs opening and closing procedures including running of reports, setting or deactivating electronic alarm, and maintaining security of money, of store safe, and of the store products.
4. Merchandises product, consistently changing displays and maintaining fresh look for maximum visibility and sales potential.
5. Adheres to all company work and safety rules. Enforces policies and procedures.
6. Responsible for floor appearance including merchandising and maintaining appropriate inventory levels.
7. Drives customer service, leads by example, is a visible hands-on supervisor, has vast product knowledge.
8. Ensures appropriate staffing levels, using payroll dollars effectively.
9. Maintains sales floor security and housekeeping.
10. Performs data entry, data maintenance, and problem resolution of paperwork and computer processing.
11. Operates department within established budget. Investigates and pursues cost reduction strategies and ongoing operational efficiency.
12. Maintains appropriate balance between project activities and necessary daily tasks while meeting deadlines.
13. Ensures that the store is properly merchandised including fresh stocked displays proper signage, and clean and neat end caps and selves.
14. Reviews sales results with management, recommending improvements
15. Communicates effectively with customers, management, supervisors, and staff.
16. Ensures new employees are trained in a timely and complete manner. Ensures new and revised training is properly implemented for current employees.
17. Writes and conducts timely employee performance appraisals. Provides daily feedback to employees, maintains cohesive staff.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
