Overview:
Retail Program Director
The Retail Program Manager (RPM) oversees our store relationship with Costco. We are an HVAC company that has kiosk space in six Costco stores in the east valley and SE Phoenix. The RPG works with a supervisor to support the kiosk program in Costco stores by recruiting, hiring, training and scheduling appointment generators. Also, develops and drives a positive relationship with Costco employees, including floor managers. The position requires the ability to work some weekends to oversee weekend employees. The RPM trades off with supervisor to accomplish this. Schedule may be Monday through Friday one week, and then Tuesday through Saturday the next week as determined by RPM and supervisor.

This is a full-time, exempt position that requires regularly working weekends (your schedule will allow for 2 consecutive weekdays off) and daily travel to retail stores.

Our ideal candidate will have at least five years of similar management experience working in the field while successfully juggling multiple priorities. You’ll have a proven track record of effectively leading a team of associates with metric-based productivity standards with a focus on training and development. Creative recruiting strategies are strongly preferred. Solid communication, relationship building, and partnership skills are a must. And a drive to not only succeed for yourself, but for your team as well!

Responsibilities:
Essential Duties & Responsibilitiesge up to 3 Retail Program Managers & their teams
    • Oversee, with supervisors, approximately 25 appointment generators
    • Recruit, hire, train and manage staff
    • Visit stores daily to maintain relationships and train and support staff members
    • Meet with upper management to contribute to monthly KPI’s and revenue goals
Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications
  • Must be able to recruit, train, and develop people
  • Must be able to work weekends (will have 2 consecutive weekdays off)
  • Must have excellent communication skills
  • Must have strong organizational skills and ability to use Microsoft Office platforms
  • Retail sales experience is helpful, but not required
  • Prior trade show or kiosk management experience is a plus, but not required
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment background check, driving record, and drug screen
  • High School Diploma or equivalent is required
