Ambridge Do It Best Home Center is a family owned hardware retail store with 40+ years experience.

This specific position is a retail management position in our Paint Department.

Besides the duties listed below, this position will requiring managing the paint department team. The Paint Department Manager postion can vary from day to day but the most basic duties are to ensure everyone in the department follows the duties listed below. All managers are required to lead by example and to work hand in hand with the rest of the sales staff to accomplish our goals. Must maintain a positive attitude and encourage the same in other employees. Our managers must hold themselves to the same standards that they expect of everyone else.

Essential Duties and Responsibilitie include the following:
Assist all customers in a professional and timely manner upon them entering the retail store.
Answer customer telephone calls promptly and in an appropriate manner.
Provide knowledgeable assistance to customers with all product lines and services offered by the store.
Determine a customer’s needs by asking questions and listening to the customer’s response.
To suggestively sell additional merchandise in order to help the customer complete their projects efficiently and effectively.
Process all sales transactions accurately, timely and in accordance with standard operating
procedures.
Actively participate in all provided training programs in order to maintain and enhance product knowledge.
Help maintain established merchandising standards including sales floor displays, promotional displays etc.
Assist store managers with outside sales calls when necessary.
Help maintain the stores appearance on the interior and exterior.
Present a professional, neat appearance, maintain a good attendance record and arrive to work at the scheduled time.
Demonstrated skills in customer service and selling skills.
Good time management skills and the ability to multi-task.
Basic computer knowledge.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
