What You Will Do as a Restorative Nurse Aide

As a Stonerise Restorative Nurse Aide, you will assist patients with transfers, walking, strength training and range of motion exercises, documenting services and changes in patients’ conditions, dressing or grooming, and helping with amputation and prosthesis care.

Some of your primary responsibilities include:

• Applying restorative care therapeutic procedures under the supervision of a licensed nurse. This includes range of motion, hand care, ambulation, etc.

• Accompanying patients to and from restorative treatment and documenting patients’ status via scheduled care tasks.

• Observing and reporting and decline/improvement in patients’ behavior and/or condition to the supervisor.

• Assisting patients to meet daily needs while providing a safe and comfortable environment.

• Assisting patients in becoming more accustomed to the center’s routines and encouraging them to participate in social/recreational activities.

• Bathing and dressing patients.

• Assisting with feeding patients and serving and collecting food trays.

Full-Time, Non-Exempt

Education, Licensure & Certification Requirements

• Certified as a Nursing Assistant in the state of West Virginia

• Maintains CPR certification
