*Previous experience working in a healthcare environment is a plus*

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Proper functioning of the Kitchen and Dining Room
• Proper preparation for service: reservation operations, POS prices, room readiness, staff readiness, and communication of needs in advance of events of the day
• Attend, participate and lead all areas dining room operations.
• Assist residents and staff during meals
• Communicate issues to other managers and director in a timely fashion
• Handle complaints from staff and managers effectively and document the incidents completely.
• Run staff training on a daily basis
• Maintain HIPPA regulations.
• Record all pertinent information for staffing and residents.
• Prepare staff schedules.
• Prepare event forms
• Communicate with kitchen pertaining to any food discrepancies.
• Help coordinate special events such as luncheons, special dinners, social hours.
• Attend all in-services and Mandatory meetings. Relay all pertinent information to servers.
• Follow and require all personnel to follow all safety procedures.
• Ensure maintenance and cleanliness of dining room
• Tabulate daily meal counts.
• Complete daily attendance sheets

QUALIFICATIONS:

1-2 years of supervisory experience in a fast-paced restaurant setting

Availability to work evenings and weekends

Good communication skills

Ability to work independently

Reliable

Basset/Serv Safe Certified preferred or willing to acquire in the first 90 days of employment
