Waterman's, a high-volume, restaurant located at the Oceanfront is looking to add an experienced restaurant manager to our team. Position entails working day and night shifts (both weeknights and weekends) managing the many aspects of the restaurant to include guest relations, supervision of all FOH staff and staffing levels, food & beverage quality, safety and pace.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

· Effectively leading and developing a team of hostesses, bussers, servers, bartenders, food runners, valets and expos

· Ensuring that the shift is run in a smooth manner; handling any unexpected problems or emergencies that may arise

· Scheduling FOH staff

· Engaging in ongoing development of front of house staff in relation to service skills, attitude, and menu knowledge by utilizing training plans, menu tests, staff meetings, etc

· Holding staff accountable for their performance by maintaining standards

· Working with point of sale system to input and manage menu and employee information

· Collaborating with the management team to plan large scale events for the restaurant

· Tracking inventory and ordering product for various supplies and/or beverages

Qualifications:

· Must display a passion for service with an outgoing, welcoming personality where hospitality is second nature

· Must have good judgment with the ability to make timely and sound decisions

· Must seize every opportunity to excite and uplift team members and guests every day

· Must take great pride in displaying a professional image every day

· 5+ years of restaurant management experience required

· Bachelor's degree preferred
