PART-TIME ASSISTANT RESTAURANT MANAGER at Simsbury Farms Golf Course

Local Country Club is looking for a Part-time Assistant Restaurant Manager. Must have previous restaurant management experience and be a highly motivated and detailed-foriented person.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

• Opening/closing of restaurant
• Ensure that all guests feel welcome and are given responsive, friendly and courteous service at all times.
• Investigate and resolve complaints regarding food quality, service, or accommodations
• Schedule staff hours and assign duties, responsibilities, and workstations to employees in accordance with work requirements
• Train new and current employees on proper customer service practices
• Ensure that all restaurant policies, standards, specifications, guidelines, and training programs are followed and completed in a timely basis
• Control cash and other receipts by adhering to cash handling and reconciliation procedures in accordance with restaurant policies and procedures
• Compile and balance cash receipts at the end of the day or shift
• Count money and make deposit drops
• Schedule and receive food and beverage deliveries, checking delivery contents to verify product quality and quantity
• Supervise and participate in kitchen and dining area cleaning activities
• Prepare all required paperwork, including forms, reports and schedules in an organized and timely manner
• Ensure compliance with sanitation and safety regulations
• Promote the brand in the local community through word of mouth and restaurant events
• Oversee private/golf events - staffing, setup, breakdown, cleanup

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $25.00 per hour
