PIRATE COVE WATERFRONT RESORT – ASSISTANT FOOD & BEVERAGE MANAGER

PIRATE COVE RESORT, the largest and busiest waterfront resort on the Colorado River between Laughlin, Nevada and Lake Havasu, Arizona isseeking an Assistant Food & Beverage Manager for its restaurant/bar. We are looking for a detail orientated, positive, team player, with exceptional guest service skills. Responsibilities include, maintaining property cleanliness, sales growth, inventory and cost management, and ongoing training and coaching of current and new employees. You must have a passion for delivering an unprecedented guest experience through hospitality and the highest standards in food quality. Our candidate must lead by example, set clear expectations, and have a strong follow through of upholding the Pirate Cove standards. The work is fast paced; the environment is fun.

Note, Pirate Cove is not a night club; we serve lunch and close not later than 6:00 PM.

Position requirements:

· Minimum 5 years’ experience in high volume restaurant/bar environment.

· Proficiency in Toast/POS system, Microsoft Office Suite and Outlook.

· Strong leadership, customer service, communication and team management skills.

· Positive, upbeat personality, and team player.

· Attention to detail and cleanliness.

· Delivering and coaching staff to give exceptional customer service.

· Give and take direction respectfully.

· Must be able to multitask in a high-volume atmosphere, calmly, and while having fun!

· Work includes weekends, evenings and holidays.

· Clean driver’s license.

· San Bernardino County Food Handlers Card & CA ABC Certificate

Responsibilities:

· Assistance in overall operation & budgeting. Includes opening, closing and running shift independently.

· Overseeing the guest experience and staff productivity effectively and thoroughly.

· Communicating to staff and upper management how we can be more efficient and continually raise our expectations of guest satisfaction.

· Recruiting, hiring, training and scheduling staff.

· Purchasing and cost control of food/liquor and labor.

· Staff training on proper food preparation, legal alcoholic beverage service, kitchen safety techniques and an understanding of health standards.

· Maintenance of property which includes cleanliness and upkeep of equipment.

Position is Full Time.

Pay Range $25.00 \ Hour - $28.00 \ Hour
