Respiratory Therapist (Lead) - Full Time

Position Purpose:
Leads staff and performs all general respiratory care practitioner duties, which includes the administration of aerosol therapy, arterial blood draws and analysis, ECG's, airway maintenance, oxygen administration, maintenance and troubleshooting, intubation and extubation of patients.

Position Qualifications/Minimum Requirements

Education: Associates degree in Respiratory care from an AMA accredited school of respiratory therapy.

Experience: Minimum of 2 years emergency room experience.

Skills: Has current knowledge and skills appropriate to age/type of patient population served. Must be competent in performing general respiratory care procedures. Must be competent in communication skills that provide clear and accurate information in an appropriate manner within the developmental age range of the patient.

Licenses/Certifications: Required: Current Arizona Respiratory Care License. Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT from the NBRC) credential. American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC) BLS and ACLS. For Skilled Nursing Unit: Fingerprint Clearance Card
