Title: Resource Development Manager
Hours/Status Full Time/Exempt
We are looking for an experienced Resource Development Manager to lead our fundraising initiatives.
Position Overview:
The Resource Development Manager administers our development strategy, including grant writing and reporting, event planning, funding appeals – digital and written, foundation and public relations, and more. This position also maintains our donor database and CRM. This position serves as an ambassador for Lake-Geauga Habitat for Humanity and attends various public events, outings, conferences, etc. This position reports directly to the Executive Director and works closely with other departments to ensure compliance with budgets, grants, etc.
Responsibilities
- Develop and direct the planning, budgeting, scheduling, and coordination of all LGHFH events, including luncheons, golf outing, smaller events, etc., and solicits corporate sponsorship opportunities.
- Research grant opportunities and follow through with all grant writing and reporting requirements, including maintaining annual calendar of grant deadlines.
- Work closely with Executive Director to create content for donor appeals.
- Process and enter all data into CRM, including daily contributions and donor information and maintain all donor mailing lists.
- Prepare and send gift acknowledgement letters.
- Maintain online donation page.
- Work closely with the Marketing & Communications Manager to develop collateral materials (print and social media) to support fundraising initiatives.
- Attend HFH affiliate and State conferences.
- Other duties as assigned by Executive Director.
Qualifications and Skills
- Passionate about the mission of Lake-Geauga Habitat for Humanity.
- Must have minimum of 5 years of previous fundraising experience.
- Must have knowledge of HUD grant writing and reporting/compliance requirements, including HOME and CDBG.
- Must be proficient in Donor Perfect and Bloomerang CRM platforms.
- Must be competent with the Microsoft Office software suite. (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Must demonstrate strong oral and interpersonal communication skills.
- The ability to work effectively as a team member with staff.
- Should be able to demonstrate a high level of ethics, integrity, diplomacy, and initiative.
- Must be willing to work various hours outside normal day/week schedule, e.g., occasional evenings and weekends.
- Must have valid Ohio driver's license and be willing to drive to various locations throughout our service area (eligible for mileage reimbursement).

Pay Range: $55K - $65K.
Work Location: Will work out of office location with some opportunities to work remotely. Service area includes all of Lake and Geauga Counties

Work Conditions: This job operates in a professional office environment. This role also uses office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
