Atlanta Classical Academy seeks a full-time Resource and Administrative Coordinator. The Resource and Administrative Coordinator is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the Resource Room, including but not limited to: book and resource acquisition and distribution, inventory management, shipment receiving and distribution, and production services.

The RAC will directly contribute to the Operations department, including but not limited to: project-based work, event coordination, on-site logistics, carpool assistance, and as-needed support for Operations team members. The RAC will provide administrative support to the executive team, including but not limited to: scheduling, email organization, purchase orders, master calendar, and yearly academic calendar creation with the Director of Operations. This position will ideally begin July 2023.

The responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Responsible for sourcing, purchasing & distributing all school curriculum materials & office supplies;
  • Maintains adequate inventory management procedures for curricular materials & office supplies;
  • Manage the school's support hubs for teachers; streamlines office workflows & curriculum orders;
  • Complete production requests as reasonably requested by faculty & staff;
  • Gains approval for & executes purchase orders with respect to applicable departments, faculty & staff;
  • Task & project-based duties as delegated by the Director of Operations, including but not limited to the following: Campus signage, carpool duties, event coordination, set-up, execution, and break-down;
  • Provides occasional role support & backup for Operations team members as needed, including but not limited to: front office coverage, substitute coverage planning, Cafeteria coverage;
  • Serves as a member of the ‘School Safety Team’ with drill-specific responsibilities and certification requirements (CPR);
  • Executive Assistant responsibilities to the Head of School, Upper and Lower School Principals, and other administrators as determined by the HOS.

Qualified candidates will meet the following requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Strong organizational, task, and time management skills required
  • Ability to stand and move around for extended periods
  • Ability to lift 25(+) lbs
  • Adaptability and flexibility are necessary character traits of the role
  • Working knowledge of Google Drive and Microsoft applications
  • Experience working in education or charter school system is strongly preferred

About Atlanta Classical Academy:

Atlanta Classical Academy is an open-enrollment, public charter school open to students who reside within the Atlanta Public Schools district. The school opened in 2014 with grades K – 8, and has added a grade each year as students have advanced. It is now a K – 12 academy. The children of full-time employees have enrollment preference and would be offered a seat in the school.
