Ross Plumbing (Contractor License No. CFC056481) seeks Residential Service Plumbers to serve the plumbing needs of local homeowners in Leesburg, Fruitland Park, The Villages, Lady Lake, Wildwood, Eustis, Mt. Dora, and other local communities throughout Lake and Sumter Counties.

$16 - $26 hourly

• Offer courteous, efficient service and answer customers' questions thoroughly and thoughtfully
• Fix, repair, and install piping, fittings, or fixtures skillfully as needed or directed
• Arrive at service sites punctually
• knowledge of plumbing systems
• Follow company practices and procedures
• Practice standard safety best practices
• Communicate with office staff to be aware of additional service calls added to the schedule

• Two years of plumbing experience or equivalent training
• Valid driver's license
• Ability to pass a drug test
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Ability to work on uneven surfaces
• Ability to stand, bend or walk for long periods of time
• Possession of own tools helpful
• Ability to work overtime

Additionally, the ideal candidate also has:

• Active listening skills, and the ability to understand each customer’s unique problems or concerns
• Effective communication skills, ability to describe and explain repairs about to be performed along with the reasons for those repairs
• Adaptability to a workday is subject to change with changes in customers’ needs

• The ability to solve problems professionally and logically
• Attention to safety at all times on the job
• The ability to adhere to industry best practices and all local codes
• Experience with all standard, common piping materials, including PEX, PVC, copper, and cast iron
• The desire to make a stable career within a successful company
