Job description

Assists residents in the maintenance of their independence; Provides assistance with everyday functions such as bathing, hygiene, dressing, eating, etc.

- Maintain cleanliness of building, laundry, Take trash out at end of every shift. Perform shift change walkthroughs.

-Distributes medications to residents. Orders medications from pharmacies as required.

-Oversees the work and evaluates performance of one or more care friends.

-Responsible for calling in staff in an event of call offs

-Records distribution of medications on the appropriate medication records

-Tests blood sugar levels and administers insulin as directed

-Mature person

-High school diploma/GED required

-Able to communicate clearly in English using written and verbal methods

-Excellent interpersonal communication skills

-Strong bedside manner

-Ability to work as a valuable part of a team

-Able to work the scheduled shifts and report to any mandate that you are scheduled

-Excellent attendance record

- Experience preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: From $13-$14.50 based on certification. Midnight and weekend shift differential.
