Job Title: Registered Nurse Supervisor

Shift: Need of Flexibility

Wage: $62,400 salary

Signing Bonus: $5000

Requirements:

• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in Pennsylvania.
• Prior Supervisory experience preferred.

· Must be at least 21 years of age.

· Must possess a valid driver’s license.

· Must be able to pass required (state and federal) criminal and child abuse background checks.

· Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen.

Job Description:

• Supervise, assist with hiring, and evaluate staff performance, while developing measurable objectives for necessary improvements and implementing appropriate corrective action to staff adhering to human resources policies and procedures.
• Schedule, adjust hours and shifts, assign, and evaluate staff members.
• Make appropriate referrals to the contracted physician(s) and other medical agencies or practitioners.
• Perform the required nursing assessments for clients and develop the medical portion of the treatment plan.
• Provide direct patient care by observing, assessing and recording symptoms, reactions and progress, assisting physicians during treatments and examinations, and assisting in the rehabilitation of patients.
• Promote good health habits, proper hygiene, and good nutrition with all clients.
• Administer physician prescribed medications and vaccines.
• Ensure patient safety, including reporting of incidents and medication errors.
• Control and maintain adequate inventory of drugs and medical supplies.
• Respond to medical emergencies and work "on-call" shifts to provide emergency assistance as needed.
• Provide staff member training to include CPR, first aid, universal precautions, medication side effects, and other appropriate topics.
