Title: Registered Nurse Nursing Home in Irene,South Dakota
Registered Nurse to join our team in the Traumatic Brain Injury Unit at our skilled nursing facility in Irene, South Dakota. This is a full-time permanent position with a $5000 sign-on bonus for a 2-year commitment. As an integral member of our team, you will be responsible for providing quality care and supervision to our residents.
Responsibilities:
Plan, direct, coordinate, and supervise resident care
Conduct nursing assessments and develop care plans
Implement nursing care and delegate tasks to other nursing personnel
Supervise and evaluate the resident's response to nursing interventions
Document nursing assessments, plans, and evaluations in the medical record
Provide health teaching to residents and families based on health-related problems or needs
Requirements:
Graduation from an accredited school of nursing and a license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of South Dakota
Basic Life Support certification
Experience as a registered nurse in a healthcare setting, preferably nursing home experience
Substantial and specialized knowledge, judgment, and skill based upon the principles of the biological, psychological, behavioral, and social sciences for which the registered nurse bears responsibility and accountability
