Position: Registered Nurse

• $65/Hour,13 Weeks Contract

Shift Info :nights, 7p-7a

• 3 years of experience as Registered Nurse required
• At least 3 year previous experience preferred
• BLS required
• Maine state RN License required
• Associates Degree in Nursing Required

Job Description:

• The Registered Nurse is an essential member of the patient care team, responsible for the delivery of direct and indirect patient care through the nursing process in all areas of the unit.
• The RN will be responsible for assessing patients on admission and throughout stay, developing and periodically updating individualized, multidisciplinary plan of care, and reviewing discharge plans/instructions with patients/families and documenting a discharge summary.
• They would administer medications, IV therapy, blood and it's components according to established clinical standards and policies.
• The Specialty Care Rehabilitation unit provides short-term skilled nursing and rehab services to patients recovering from fractures, joint replacements, back surgery, stroke, and other illnesses or injuries of a short-term nature where a rehab approach might be beneficial.
• Nursing services often include IV therapy, wound care, and geriatric assessment and management.
• Associates Degree in Nursing Required
• Valid State of Maine RN license required
• BLS certification required
• RN needed for Skilled Nursing Facility/Long Term Care units.
• ** TRAVELERS MUST BE WILLING TO FLOAT**
• All candidates must be vaccinated
• Candidate must reside outside of a 50 mile radius
