Trimble is recruiting for a Regional Sales Manager (m/f/d) to join the team in Germany.
Title: Regional Sales Manager
Location: Germany remote
Reporting to: Sales Director
Goal: Focus on Sales and Support of channel partners in the Building Construction Field Solutions (BCFS) Business Area

Responsibilities:

Responsible for the day-to-day relationship management of partners

Act as liaison between Trimble and assigned BuildingPoint partners
-
Evaluate and develop partner sales personnel through observation, feedback and coaching as required to achieve revenue targets and market coverage

Provide demonstration materials and strategy in a repeatable process (PPT, conference room, jobsite) - highlight product specifications and applications

Coordinate and/or provide sales and technical training primarily for partner sales personnel:

Territory Planning
-
Targeted list creation
-

Review status of sales resources with Manager
-
Contribute toward marketing plan by defining the message and target audience for a given product in the portfolio

Increase market share of certain targeted products in the portfolio through the development of distribution partners

Emphasise product features based on analyses of customers' needs, and on technical knowledge of product capabilities and limitations

Event Coverage
-
Participate in partner planning to develop performance and meet assigned targets

Oversee ordering process, including discount and promotion

Reporting Responsibilities, to include but not limited to:

KPIs
-
Pipeline / Forecast

Revenue vs Target
-
Business Reviews

General:

Maintain sales and channel partner relationship

Other duties as required
Ethics:

Required skills as follows:
-
Proven work experience as a Regional Sales Manager, Area Manager or similar senior sales role

Ability to measure and analyze key performance indicators (ROI and KPIs)

Familiarity with CRM software Salesforce or similar
-
Excellent communication skills
-
Strong organizational skills with a problem-solving attitude
-
Availability to travel as needed
Preferred Skills:
-
Sales in construction industry with a knowledge of BIM / Construction workflows
-
Experience with B2B sales
-
BSc degree in Sales, Business Administration or relevant field

Ability to lead and motivate a high performance sales team

Fluent in a second European language is a plus
