This position is at the North American headquarters of the world’s largest biotech company, where more than 4,000 people work together to provide insights that help people around the world manage and improve personal health conditions. Location: Indianapolis, IN
Shift Availability: The exact schedule is yet to be released, but there will be a 30% travel requirement for this position with potential to be remote work outside of that. More specific details regarding schedule to come.
Pay Range: $49-$68/hour. Higher wage is possible if the criteria for experience/education is met.
Contract Length: This is a 24-month, W2 contract position with the potential for an extension of the contract or a conversion to fulltime employee. This is generally based on attendance, performance, and business need.
About the Regional Organizational Change Manager Position:
- In the Migration2infinity (M2i) program we are moving our customers to the future of digital diagnostics. Our mission is to migrate and update all customers with existing company IT solutions to the latest version of cobas® infinity Lab and POC software.
- Having a solid Change Management Strategy in place is fundamental to the success of the M2i program.
- We are looking for a experienced change manager who can act as the Regional Change Manager leading to bring the Change Management Strategy and its different elements to life for the U.S. Diagnostics Affiliate (RDC).
- You will be working closely with the Regional IT Program Manager U.S., the full U.S. M2i Project Team, the Global Senior Change Manager, other Regional Change Practitioners and the Global M2i Core Team.
In this role your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Creating actionable deliverables for the five change management levers: communication plan, sponsor roadmap, coaching plan, training plan, resistance management plan
- Owning and driving communication efforts including building and delivering presentations to targeted business audiences as needed
- Ensure Adoption and further shape the Change Toolkit and Joint Value Proposition
- Supporting adoption of E2E upgrade and migration processes
- Coordinating efforts with subject matter experts
- Integrating change management activities into project plans
- Monitor and measure the engagement periodically, identify barriers to change, act to resolve and ensure feedback loop
- Applying a structured methodology and driving change management an communications activities related to M2i
- Providing support to align vision, values and culture through targeted change efforts, sponsor commitment, leadership alignment, stakeholder engagement and other strategic interventions
- Integrate the global change management strategy and activities locally
- Assessing the change impact related to planned developments
- Evaluating and ensuring organizational and user readiness
- Consulting and coaching project team, managers and supervisors
- Establish and lead a M2i Champions community
Desired Skills & Experience:
- Ability to connect and engage people on all levels of the organization
- An advanced university degree
- 8+ years of relevant work experience leading large-scale organizational change management efforts and in project management or consulting environment
- A solid understanding of how people go through change and the change process
- Experience and knowledge of change management principles, methodologies and tools, preferably Prosci’s ADKAR model and associated 3 phase methodology
- Strong interpersonal skills and an ability to operate within a highly complex, sometimes ambiguous and regulated global structure
- Exceptional English communication skills – both written and verbal
- Ability to clearly articulate messages to a variety of audiences
- Ability to establish and maintain strong relationships at all levels in an organization
- Ability to influence others and move towards a common goal
- Must be a team player and able to work collaboratively with and through others
- Strong business acumen and understanding of organizational issues and challenges
- A track record of working with commercial, marketing, service and IT stakeholders is key, preferably in a complex organization;
- Demonstrated ability to shift between big picture strategic thinking and detailed coaching for execution and tracking
- Strong competence in project management to simultaneously drive several projects and in organizing resources and establishing priorities
- Self-starter, Proactive attitude and can-do mentality is most important
- Change management practitioner certified is a must
- Ability to travel for up to 30% of time
