Regional Manager Northwest Transportation
Job description
The regional manager is responsible for supervising drivers in our eastern region (Appleton, Green Bay, Rhinelander, Stevens Point, Wausau, Wisconsin Rapids), hiring and training new drivers, scheduling trips, business office related tasks, assisting with fleet management, and other duties to aide in the successful coordination of transportation services.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Supervise drivers on a day to day basis
- Problem solve issues that arise between Northwest Journey and Northwest Transportation
- Assist in the operations of Northwest Transportation
- Assist in Fleet Management
- Schedule routes when needed
- Assist with route management
- Assist the Transportation Director with day-to-day tasks
- Hiring and recruiting new employees
- Conduct yearly reviews for employees
- Travel to Northwest Journey sites regularly for supervision and relationship building
Qualifications: Education and/or Experience/ Other Skills and Abilities
- Possess strong communication (oral and written) and ongoing problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and within a team.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Ability to work on the company’s computer system.
- Ability to receive and implement feedback.
- Ability to be proactive and self-directed.
- Ability to represent Northwest within the expectations of the agencies customer relations practices.
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment.
