Job DescriptionThe purpose of the class is to patrol assigned areas of the County and enforce federal, state and local laws related to unlawful littering and dumping; to monitor County landfill operations for compliance; and to perform related work as required. The class works within a general outline of work to be performed, and develops work methods and sequences under general supervision.
Requires Associate"s degree, vocational technical degree or specialized training that is equivalent to satisfactory completion of two years of college education with emphasis in law enforcement, code enforcement or a closely related field.
Must be able to obtain basic Law Enforcement and firearms certifications within 12 months. Must possess a valid state driver"s license. Requires over one year and up to and including two years of experience.
