KidsPeace is looking to employ dedicated and experienced Recruiters!
Job Summary
Maintain thorough knowledge of the KidsPeace Foster Care and Community Programs (FCCP) staffing and onboarding needs through the use of regulations, metrics and regular contact with HR and FCCP leaders.
Core Job Responsibilities
1. Review staff vacancies daily, clarify requirements, and generate a sufficient supply of qualified candidates.
2. Partner with our Creative Services department to develop appropriate collateral for social media campaigns. Periodically, consult with the Engagement Specialist for a fresh perspective.
3. Screen applicants and conduct initial interviews as needed to evaluate candidate’s credentials. Oversee the interview process of qualified candidates with the hiring manager.
4. Coordinate the onboarding process and ensure the integrity of the hiring process is maintained. This includes clearances, reference checks, verifying work history with vendor, regulatory interviewing questions, and new hire paperwork. Be 100% certain that the hiring process continually meets all regulatory compliance.
5. Consistently develop and manage the FCCP overall recruiting strategy to ensure it meets or exceeds current economic demands.
6. Own the hiring event process, from job fairs, college career days to KidsPeace specific hiring events. Develop and retain relationships to generate an appropriate and viable candidate pool.
7. Own the management of the applicant tracking system for your clients. Educate clients on the requisition process and ensure it aligns with all department needs.
8. Provide metric reports as needed to the head of Recruiting.
9. Assist hiring managers with the development and implementation of training tools and hiring selection.
10. All other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications (Education, Training and Experiences)
Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field preferred.
Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a recruiter or superb verifiable customer support skills required.
Computer knowledge and applications coupled with a high level of empathy, inclusive communication skills, strong organizational skills, independent initiative, critical thinking skills, and the ability to adapt easily to changing priorities.
