SUMMARY

The Safe Fleet Corporate office is seeking a Full-time Receptionist to join the team! This dynamic individual will answer all incoming calls, routing them to the appropriate departments and effectively greet customers and applicants in a friendly and helpful manner.

Location: Belton, MO



ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Staffs front desk reception area
• Answer phones directing calls to appropriate extensions
• Handle all incoming and outgoing faxes
• Sorts and distributes all incoming mail
• Responsible for postage meter and all outgoing mail
• Administers math and measurement assessment tests to all applicants ensuring tests and forms are completed by candidate, informing HR if not
• Helps the customer service team where needed
• Mails literature packets and brochures per literature requests
• Compile packets for Marketing Trade Shows
• Other duties as assigned

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Previous experience handling multiple phone lines
• Must effectively greet all customers and applicants in a cheerful and helpful manner
• Must have the ability to read, write, speak and understand English plus have adequate hearing and visual acuity
• Working environment is in an air-conditioned cubical with occasionally physically going into an unheated/air conditioned manufacturing/warehouse setting
• Safety glasses with side shields are required in the production area
• Must effectively communicate on the telephone while entering data on computer
• Frequent reaching, gripping, and carrying up to 50 lbs., standing, stooping, bending, stretching, squatting and walking in addition to being seated a good portion of the day
• Good communication skills are required in addition to understanding verbal and written instruction
• Must handle multiple tasks and perform effectively in a fast paced work environment
