Position Title: Receiver 1

Pay Rate: $20.51/hr

Category/Shift: Hourly Full-Time (8 am – 4:30 pm, Monday-Friday)

Physical Location: 2800 Dixon Street, Des Moines, IA 50316

The Job You Will Perform:

• Complete pre-start forklift maintenance inspection report (or VCR)
• Complete daily production sheet accurately recording tons received
• Record weights, bin count and bin sizes for each customer
• Dump non-sort material into bunkers
• Communicate with Supply Representative on any issues with supplier contamination, change of material type received or MRS grade family discrepancies
• Complete daily debris cleaning
• Inspect/tag equipment (bins, totes or other containers) for: Damage, Maintenance needs
• Communicate with floor lead – maintenance issues, downtime, production issues

The Skills You Will Bring:

• On-the job success in safety, attendance & quality of work expected
• Paper grade training
• Shredder safe operating procedures, Lock out, Tag out procedures
• Computer operation including MRS software knowledge
• PM process for Shredder
• Floor scale cleaning process
• PIT certification
• Assist and support implementation of EHS initiatives and strategies to reduce risk including but not limited to the areas of: OSHA, ergonomics, injury / illness reduction, hazard communication, environmental, emergency preparedness, and general employee safety
• Support LIFE areas, Safety Leading Indicators and Global Program Elements
• Follow Safe Reliable Methods (SRMs) or Job Safety Analyses (JSAs)
• Perform other job related duties as assigned
