We are looking for a seasoned Real Estate Analyst in San Diego, CA . This role focuses on conducting industry research, credit investigation, and analyses related to residential and commercial real estate loans.
Essential Functions:
Performs cash flow and tax return analysis.
Monitors ongoing compliance with financial covenants and initiates appropriate remedies for non-compliance.
Assists with loan portfolio reporting and preparation of credit presentations according to bank's policy and guidelines.
Conducts industry research, credit investigations and analyses.
Analyzes financial statements and related material to determine financial conditions and trends.
Prepares summaries, presents facts, and offers opinions concerning creditworthiness.
Provides credit information and references for customers, loan officers, or other agencies as requested.
Ensures that all credit files include proper documentation including current financial statements, agency reports, etc.
Maintains control over current accounts, noting payment progress, watching for any developing problems, and keeping loan officers informed.
Writes credit memorandums.
May accompany lenders on business calls and conduct industry research.
Qualifications:
Typically requires a bachelor's degree and 1 year of directly related experience.
Limited use and/or application of basic real estate credit and lending principles, theories, and concepts.
Basic knowledge of financial and spread analysis and credit/lending procedures for basic real estate loans.
Proficient in Word and Excel.
