We are actively seeking a Quality Specialist to join our team in Mooresville, NC!

Work Responsibilities:

As the Quality Specialist, you will:

• Read and interpret finished product Bills of Materials

• Perform audits related to product recertification, inspection procedures, and documentation defined by QA compliance

• Record inspection results accurately and legibly

• Perform math calculations using decimals and fractions

• Compile and distribute weekly and monthly reports on various quality metrics as well as reports on request for various quality issues

• Communicate with co-workers and leadership about inspections and results

• Serve as subject matter expert for recertification/returns products to provide quality technical support for the facility

• Responsible for updating and maintaining product compliance “alerts” in WMS database

• Train others on QA standards for recertification/returns products

• Support continuous improvement activities

• Perform root cause analysis and apply problem solving methods in order to analyze problems and recommend solutions

• Facilitate kaizens and other continuous improvement events across functional areas within the facility

• Ensure achievement and sustainment of continuous improvement efforts

• Make hazard observations and observe unsafe actions; report both using standard procedures

Diverse Skills and Experience That You Will Bring to the Role:

• High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree preferred

• 2+ years of previous experience in quality assurance role desired

• Demonstrates strong understanding of personal computers and competence in standard office software, including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook

• Proficient the use of quality reporting software, warehouse management systems, etc.

• Ability interpret and explain quality audit reports

• Exhibits ability to think creatively to devise the best inventory control practices.

• Ability to push, pull and lift up to 70 lbs.

• Ability to climb ladders, kneel, bend and squat
