Summary:

AP Professionals has partnered with a plastics manufacturing company in search of a Quality Inspector. Reports into the Quality Manager and owns the inspection process for incoming and finished goods. This operations focuses on high quality, low to medium volume production. A High School Diploma is required. 2+ years of experience is desired.

This is a full-time, direct hire opportunity.

This is an A shift opportunity with hours of 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM.

Responsibilities:

• Inspection of incoming materials as well as production set-up.
• Perform auditing of production in order to ensure conformance. Utilize precision gages.
• Fulfill customer requirements for capability studies.
• Ensure that parts being produced are in conformance and are of desired quality according to customer standards and expectations.
• Promptly communicate non-conformances or quality issues to the appropriate team members.
• Initiate quality problem report and document corrective actions in timely manner.
• Conformance to Quality Management Systems (QMS) and standards.

Requirements:

• AS degree or QA certification preferred
• Minimum of a High School Diploma required.
• Two years’ experience in inspection and quality.
• Ability to read and understand mechanical drawings.
• Ability to use gauges and measurement devices effectively.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Software including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Understanding of Quality Management Systems.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
