JOB TITLE: Quality Manager

Position Summary: The Quality Manager is responsible for ensuring the products we produce adhere to a defined set of quality criteria and meet the requirements of our customers and our internal standards.

Alcohol is an ingredient in products we produce. We are unable to guarantee specific positions, work schedules or work environments that do not include working around alcohol.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Manages the Quality Department and ensures the appropriate quality testing and documentation for all of the products in Plant A, Plant B and Repack production.
• Coordinates, monitors and works with Quality Supervisors in order to ensure all company quality expectations.
• Works with management in formulating and establishing company policies, operating procedures, and goals as it relates to quality.
• Serves as a liaison with customers and vendors in regards to product quality.
• Conducts management meetings with Supervisors to establish, delineate, and review program organizational policies, to coordinate functions and operations between departments, and to establish responsibilities and procedures for attaining quality objectives.
• Makes recommendations and improvement ideas regarding areas of responsibility and duties to meet all quality requirements.
• Performs all other duties as assigned or required by the Company or Director of Quality.

Position Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Biology, Chemistry or Biochemistry is preferred, with training in Quality Management Operations, or comparable experience
• 5-10 years of managing in Quality Control Department in a food or beverage production facility
• Works within the office and production & warehouse environments
• Must have thorough knowledge of wide variety of analytical testing equipment and microbial testing
• Must be able to direct and lead people, along with working effectively with all levels of personnel
• Extended standing on hard surfaces.
• Position must be able to communicate with all levels of employees, vendors, customers and visitors.
