Job description
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform regular, ongoing monitoring and auditing functions for all ACR Health Programs.
- Assume primary responsibility for documentation and records management.
- Handle sensitive client data in accordance with Article 27-F, 42 CFR Part 2 and HIPAA, ACR Health policies and procedures and other applicable regulations.
- Assist Director of Quality Assurance and Compliance in identifying and implementing Quality Improvement projects in relation to audit findings.
- Manage, Review and Archive client files in accordance with ACR Health Policy and Federal and New York State regulations.
- Interface with external organizations/vendors in the course of duties to coordinate proper records maintenance, staff trainings and exchange of information.
- Assist in performing and coordinating staff trainings regarding documentation, quality assurance, confidentiality and records maintenance.
- Maintain proficiency in functions of all agency electronic health records, and all program requirements for electronic health record data entry.
- Assist the Quality Assurance and Compliance Director with preparation for comprehensive monitoring visits and annual audits.
- Maintain confidentiality of all agency clients, staff, and volunteers.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Customer service skills.
Job requires frequent travel to Utica and Watertown Offices.
CLASSIFICATION:
Hourly, Non-Exempt. Thirty-Five Hour (35.00) week; no evenings or weekends, flexible schedule (Hybrid position).
